Publisher: guides and document stettings

Is there a way to transfer guides and document settings to another document? So that I don't have to create a new document or somehow copy every single guide line.

You could use Document > Add Pages from File to import the pages with the guides that you want. That will import the pages you choose and any master pages on which they are based, so you'll get all of your guides.
