rodAD Posted May 12, 2016 Share Posted May 12, 2016 Hey guys, I would like to create something but im having trouble with, if anyone have any ideas or could guide me through it i would appreciate. looking at creating an imagine as if a bottel of blue paint fell on the floor, or of blue paint that was brushed on a wall... something similar to the attached photo but on AD. If you mean you want to create it as in paint it or something like that, then I guess with patience and a good study you could do it. That's not very clear in your post. Staff MEB Posted May 12, 2016 Staff Share Posted May 12, 2016 Hi rodAD, Welcome to Affinity Forums :) The image you posted above seems more a composite/photo than the work of a single brush. You can simulate realistic painted strokes with brushes in Affinity - check Paolo Limoncello tutorial and the brushes listed on this page, however the type of effect shown in your example (3d/volume) isn't easy to achieve with a single brush. Note that Affinity Designer has two brush engines: one vector based (in Draw Persona - although it can also use images for the nozzles) and another raster based that you can find in Pixel Persona. This one is currently more advanced - most of the brushes listed on the link above are for Pixel Persona - so it's where you will find them after importing into Affinity (Brushes panel in Pixel Persona).
