benam
I know that the Affinity Suite can have light and dark themes, however will we ever see an 'Auto' option? I frequently change my system theme, and it would be great to have an automatic option in the settings so it changes the theme without me thinking about it. I'm on Windows, and it seems to be a pretty easy job of getting the value stored at "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Themes\Personalize" in the registry. I'm not a macOS or iPadOS user, so I'm not sure if it a complex change on Apple devices, but if it's not - great! This is such a small change but it would make the app so much more responsive. Do you think that we will ever see this?

What would be the trigger for the automatic switch? benam
In most other applications with a light and dark theme, there are three options: light, dark and automatic. The latter is generally controlled by a system toggle. This is what it generally looks like in Windows, and is the toggle which changes the system theme (and apps that sync with it). On MacOS the Affinity apps already have an "OS-Standard" setting that should follow the system from "Light" to "Dark" in the evening. (Personally, I have fixed settings to "Light", so I can't really confirm this automatic switch.) benam

Having said that, switching to/from warmer colours is one thing, but doing a complete switch between light and dark seems a step too far. Seems like a bit of an oversight to bring it to one platform and not to another
