Hokusai Posted May 12, 2016 Share Posted May 12, 2016 gary1948, You didn't say whether you are asking about Designer or Photo (and maybe they are the same) but I'm talking about using Designer. When you create a new document (command + N) or File/New you are presented with a dialogue box that includes the option for "Document Units". Once you set it to inches once, it should stay at inches unless of course you change it to something other unit of measurement. Once I create a document, all the files that I create after that use the same units. I hope that helps. I have attached a screen shot that might explain it better.
