Junkbox Posted May 5, 2024 Posted May 5, 2024 When I'm sketching analog, I compulsively use parts of my pencil hand for smudging, erase tracing etc. So I made a set of smudge brushes coinciding with the parts I use when using traditional media. Dunno how they'll work for you, but they work for me and make me feel more natural. I thought I'd group em up and up them, maybe they'll come in handy. Included both Left and right to make them more like your pen hand. cheers -jb P.S. BONUS: If they ever find my prints on anything, I can use the "could be anyone on the internet" alibi Fingerprint Smudges.afbrushes Hilltop 1 Quote
Brian_J Posted May 5, 2024 Posted May 5, 2024 Cool, thanks for sharing. Are these your actual fingerprints? I wouldn’t feel at all comfortable sharing my fingerprints online. I don’t want to detract from your generosity, but I’d keep any kind of personal biometrics private. Quote Windows 10 22H2, 32GB RAM | Affinity Designer/Photo/Publisher 2 (MSI/EXE)

The P.S was meant in jest. Brian_J 1 Quote

Oh good. After reading the P.S., I wasn’t sure if I should laugh or be concerned. Laughing now. 😆 Quote Windows 10 22H2, 32GB RAM | Affinity Designer/Photo/Publisher 2 (MSI/EXE)
John Rostron Posted May 5, 2024 Posted May 5, 2024 My impression is that the finger/thumbprints are not genuine. Could they gave been generated via AI? If so, then there can be no concern about personal biometrics. I did my PhD on the inheritance of fingerprints and I have never seen patterns such as you show. John Nah, I had a vector pack from years and years ago that I did the index and thumbs. As stated the heel is mine, based on mine anyway. I took a thin coat of acrylic and made a print of it as I couldn't find any stock. I steer away from AI for the most part for various reasons. Quote
