Re-sizing endnote numbers in text and in endnotes

Recommended Posts

My endnote numbers are tiny... unreadably tiny. In the images below my body text size is 11 pt, just to give scale. How to resize the endnote number so they're readable? I have tried opening "references" and "notes" and creating a new style for endnotes which is bigger and (afaik) applying it. But nothing changes.

Would be very grateful for any instructions - I'm not a professional user.

And thank you in advance.

This is probably due to the font chosen for the note number in the text. I would suspect that you have a Character style applied to the Number Style.

I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.

Does it happen in a new document?

Can you give us a screenshot of the complete application window, with the cursor in the word before a footnote, and the Notes panel visible?

Do you have a sample .afpub that also demonstrates the issue, that you could share?

You're probably right - where is this menu from? Ta.

From the notes panel. Window > Reference > Notes.
