Greg T Posted April 13, 2024 Posted April 13, 2024 I figured out how to rotate the layers. I can resize the whole document. I can rotate the all of it using two fingers, but it isn’t precise as telling it to rotate clockwise 90 degrees, if this is possible. I understand navigator can rotate 90 degrees precisely, but when you export the picture it’s rotated the same way it’s imported!! There’s no way to rotate it before importing either! I can’t find any useful information on the internet because all of the information is outdated. The whole layout of Affinity Designer for iPad has changed allot that the videos to help you from third parties is outdated. I’m actually having to think about downloading a basic app that can rotate the whole vector picture 90 degrees because it seems this task is too simple for Affinity Designer to do that it doesn’t seem to be implemented to handle this basic task! The internet is full of useless information on Affinity products because the layouts have changed so much! Quote
NotMyFault Posted April 13, 2024 Posted April 13, 2024 The easiest way to rotate the content inside a document for export is: add an artboard. All content is automatically moved inside Rotate the artboard (move tool / transform panel) Export the artboard only (not full document). The artboard should be active layer, and change in export UI form „whole document“ to „Artboard“ Greg T 1 Quote Mac mini M1 A2348 | MBP M3 Windows 11 - AMD Ryzen 9 5900x - 32 GB RAM - Nvidia GTX 1080 LG34WK950U-W, calibrated to DCI-P3 with LG Calibration Studio / Spider 5 | Dell 27“ 4K iPad Air Gen 5 (2022) A2589 Special interest into procedural texture filter, edit alpha channel, RGB/16 and RGB/32 color formats, stacking, finding root causes for misbehaving files, finding creative solutions for unsolvable tasks, finding bugs in Apps.
