dgmeyer
I want to select the head of person in one photo and essentially use it to replace the head on a second image. I've done this many times in photoshop but can't duplicate it in Affinity Photo. I can copy and paste a head onto a second image but because of the difference in resolution of the two original photos, only a fraction of the pasted image (that includes the head) appears. I can't drag the new layer separately to find the head, can't find any resizing handles to decrease the size of the pasted image. I see there is a transform area but it's totally blank and seems to be uneditable-- I'm really stuck. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks. david
dgmeyer
I actually figured things out although am having trouble cloning an area from one layer to another -- I did make sure to use the dropdown to select the different layer options but nothing worked. Other than that, however, I was able to accomplish the task... Leigh and manu schwendener
Staff Leigh Posted May 9, 2016 Staff Share Posted May 9, 2016 Thanks for the update :) Are you still having problems with cloning? If any of the layers are an Image Layer you will need to Rasterise them first. Callum
