[Fixed] Nik Collection crashes

Recommended Posts

Hi. I installed the Nik Collection and normally it works. But every now and then, for no reason I can find, it crashes when I start the plug-in. The screen looks like in the screenshot and I can only force-quit the program. When I get this condition, rebooting doesn´t help, I must deinstall the plug-in, reinstall and then it works again for a while.

Hi Affinitat

I've been trying the Nik plugins all day and have not managed to get a crash yet. From your screenshot it looks like it's basically bringing up two instances of the plugin, with the image open in the one behind and the one on top waiting for something to be passed through. Is there anything you are doing prior to this occurring that might trigger this? Are you able to close this second instance of the plug-in when it appears at all?

Cheers

Ah, okay! I didn´t pay attention to that. It seems the fullscreen is something that likes to cause crashes, I noticed that elsewhere too. I hope you´ll be able to fix it for future versions, but meanwhile that is easy to go around. Thanks!
