purchase after trial - procedure

Simle question - Should the trial version be uninstalled before buying the full version from the App Store? Any particular protocol to follow?

Both apps can be installed along side each other without causing any issues. I would delete the trial version if you have the Mac App Store version installed as you won't using it :)

Hi, first time i ever asked anything, so please be nice....

 

I downloaded the trial version of photo and loved it, bought the full version but can't seem to delete the trial version, it won't go! Its not a biggee in the scheme of things, just be nice to have the one icon to click! :rolleyes:

Just drag it from your Applications folder to the Trash.

Just make sure you are logged into an admin user account in OS X & you should be able to drag the trial version to the trash, as MEB said.

 

You may also want to open your user's Library folder (not the top level Library one) & its Container folder & look for folders in it whose names begin with "com.seriflabs.affinity." If you see any ending with ".beta" (like "com.seriflabs.affinitydesigner.beta") you can also delete them.
