mattspace Posted April 6, 2024 Posted April 6, 2024 I've tried everything I can think of, and searched high and low, but it seems it should be a simple thing. I've created some text, I want to apply a perspective distortion to the text to match the forced perspective of something the text is supposed to be sitting upon, so that the top of the text is narrower than the bottom. The text is centred to the central perspective line. How do I modify the drag of one of the top or bottom corner points, so that the corresponding point on the other side mirrors its movement based on axis? Like how to I get both top corners to move inwards towards each other by an equal amount? Thanks. Quote
AffinityJules Posted April 6, 2024 Posted April 6, 2024 Affinity photo (if that's what you're using) has no such option as far as I am aware. It's been mentioned many times before, but as yet, it has not been included in any update. You have to drag each handle separately and do the best you can. Quote Some scientists claim that hydrogen, because it is so plentiful, is the basic building block of the universe. I dispute that. I say there is more stupidity than hydrogen, and that is the basic building block of the universe. These are not my own words but I sure like this quote.

Thanks for confirming. *sigh* FFS I could do this in Photoshop 14 years ago. Yet another weight on the side of "go back to Adobe"... I can't get tasks done with consumer rights & feeling smug about sticking it to the man. Quote

Serif PhotoPlus had this capability (via the use of modifier keys) more than a decade ago. It would seem that Serif is in forward gear so to speak, but some aspects of their software is in reverse. 😕 Quote Some scientists claim that hydrogen, because it is so plentiful, is the basic building block of the universe.
