Hi,

I have been trying to recolour the cream colour as shown in the image. I thought I would use the select by sampled colours as an obvious and easiest tool to use, especially in Adobe photoshop. As I have used it I have noticed that as soon as I press apply the selected lasso from the specific colour jumps across, which I find very frustrating as I don't know why it does that or how to fix it. Because of this, the image becomes completely messy hence the tool is not functional for my workflow. Would anyone know how to fix this?

Thanks

Welcome to the forums @Giorgio37,

This is a known bug in the Photo persona, having a bleed set on the document will cause selection functions (Select Sampled Colour, Tonal Range, Colour Range etc.) to become offset when applied. Back in the Publisher persona if you remove the bleed via the Document Setup menu and then use the same selection function again this should work. I'll bump the existing issue with your report.

The issue "Select options in Photo Persona are offset based on bleed" (REF: AF-1973) has been fixed by the developers in internal build "2.5.0.2375".
This fix should soon be available as a customer beta and is planned for inclusion in the next customer release.
Customer beta builds are announced here and you can participate by following these instructions.
If you still experience this problem once you are using that build version (or later) please reply to this thread including @Affinity Info Bot to notify us.
