In Designer, Image is all black, though layers are all there.

Recommended Posts

I created an image yesterday, edited it early this morning, all was well. Then I decided to move the contents to another file, so I copied the part of the image I wanted to move, created a new image from clipboard and while the pieces of the image are in the layers palette, the image itself doesn't show in the window. To make matters worse, when I went back to the original image, it too was showing all the layers in the palette, but not in the image. When I do a select all, I can see the outlines but no fill. I checked to make sure that it was in pixel view mode.
And as a matter of fact ALL new images don't show what I draw in them. The only way I can get my images back is to quit and start over.
This has actually been going on ever since I upgraded to 2, it's just finally annoyed me into action today.

Just in case: do you have a second monitor plugged/unplugged? Your "all black" + "I can see the outlines but no fill" reminds to a known issue, for instance :

Though this was listed to be fixed in v.2.4. beta, Dez. 2023, it still appears to occur.
