ronanski
How do I make text follow a circle at the bottom of the circle without it going inside, upside down or backwards?
Catshill
Hit return and adjust baseline to place text at correct height.

Brian_J
Type the text on the inside of the path, then on the context toolbar, set Baseline to position the text where you want it relative to the path. I’ve assumed you wanted text at the top of the ellipse and then (after pressing return) wanting text at the bottom of the circle as well. After pressing return you should be able to see two sets of little triangles(Red Arrows). A Green for the start and a Red for the end. And a New Paragraph symbol (Green Arrow) if you have Text > Show Special Characters checked. I used Centred for the Alignment for the paragraphs. This makes the words centred between the two little triangles, dragging them will move the text keeping it centred. I would've preferred if I could snap it exactly so that the top of the text became the baseline but this'll do Brian_J

I'd like the ability to align text to a path based on: baseline, ascenders, descenders, x-height, and cap height; for text inside and outside the path. And I wish we could change the offset from the path from percent to units of measure like px, inches, mm, etc. Quote Windows 10 22H2, 32GB RAM | Affinity Designer/Photo/Publisher 2 (MSI/EXE)
