PDF file with fonts opened with default Arial font instead of saved pdf font

The pdf file I saved to my computer was in a serif font, however, when I opened the file in affinity it opened with the default Arial font. How would I be able to open files in their saved format?

Is the font that the PDF file uses installed on your computer?
If Publisher cannot find a suitable font on your computer, a similar replacement font will be used.
If the font is displayed correctly in the PDF but not in Publisher, it is probably only the glyphs that are embedded.

That was it, total newbie here. I see now where it says what font is missing and gives you the option when you upload it. Thanks so much! I added the font and now we’re good to go
