Affinity Designer - Text is default to bold. How do I change it to normal - There's No B to press.

My text boxes default is bold. I am unable to change it to normal as the bold button in top bar isn't pressed.  If I click on character, I amunable to find an option to switch bold off or to revert to normal print. There is a black option but it is bold. How can I set the text to normal (bold off)?

At the moment I'm having to c+p an old frame with normal text.

You have a 1.4 pt Stroke applied to your text in that frame. Select the text and turn the stroke off to fix the problem.

In case you've managed to set it as a default, after you turn it off:

1. Make sure the text is selected.
2. Use Edit > Defaults > Synchronize from Selection and then
3. Edit > Defaults > Save.
