I am using Suitcase fusion 6 V17.3.2 and OS 11.10.4

I am attempting to do logos and modifying glyphs by converting them to outlines (curves in Affinity.)

Lot of problems:

• When selecting selecting more than 1 point, the second one jumps to another line, when sip to guides is turned off. I had to turn snapping off to have any control.

• When a family (admittedly a large one) of fonts was activated, not all the glyphs were made available. I had to activate just the ones I wanted. Annoying, but workable.

• Affinity now quits when I attempt to modify the last line of the file in question. I will attach the problem file. My fonts are in good shape and I just cleaned the Suitcase cache.MIKE&AL '16 LOGO.afdesign

In general, I am finding the interface less responsive than Illustrator. Not surprising, but I mean a lot less control of the pen tool.

Having to discover what can and can't be done on my own just adds to the frustration. In addition, my Beta version aged out. What does that mean?

Hi Nivrams,

Please could you include the font that you have used so that I may investigate this further for you? Beta's will typically age out if a new version is released, check the beta section of the Forum for more information regarding this :)

Thanks

C
