Hans Chiu
Hello Affinity Community, I have a question about Affinity Designer's auto-recovery feature. If I decide not to open the auto-recovery file when launching the program, does it still hang around somewhere, or is it deleted? I've some suggestions: 1. Retain Auto Recovery Files: It would be helpful if they were still accessible even if we opt not to open them initially. or 2. Clearer Notification: Maybe a heads-up about potential file loss? Dan C
Hi @Hans Chiu, 5 hours ago, Hans Chiu said: If I decide not to open the auto-recovery file when launching the program, does it still hang around somewhere, or is it deleted? As I understand it, when selecting 'No' to this option, the .autosave file is discarded from the temporary folder on your system. You can manually locate these .autosave files, provided the app has not yet discarded them - though the location will differ based on the following: Are you using Windows, macOS or iPad? If you're using Windows - are you using the MSIX or EXE installer? Many thanks in advance
