Hello all,

I'm working on Designer to create an advertising banner (to be printed). I'm exporting to CMYK PDF. The printing company requires "all spot colours to be converted to CMYK before creating the PDF". Does this have anything to do with the option "Honour spot colours"?

You can find attached the presets I've used.

Many thanks for your help.

Nic

Hi npmc,

Welcome to Affinity Forums :)

Yes, if you check Honour Spot Colours they will be preserved as spot colours when you export the file. If you need them converted to their equivalent in your colour space (CMYK in this case) uncheck this option.
