Image not viewable on main screen (Trial Ver)

Recommended Posts

Hello,

I have installed the Trial Version of the software to see how well it will works.

I have some  picture on my Mac and when i open them they show in the Navigator (lower right side in the tools), but not on the main screen.

I have tried to open the software using Control, click then clear all of the settings. This did not remedy my issue.

Layers the background is checked and locked. I tried to unlock, and uncheck that didn't work..

I rebooted the computer after install.

I have tried imported pictures from my camera, (JPG) scanned images, (JPG) and down loaded one of the ones offered when you first start the application.

I am on OS X El Capitan, 10.11.4. Mac Mini with 8 gb memory.

I didn't report this as a bug, as it could simply be configuration related.

Any help is appreciated.

Craig

Hi Craig,

Welcome to the forums.

Open Photo and then Preferences (⌘,) and select Performance, now try changing the the bottom two options:

Use Hardware OpenGL

Use only integrated GPU

Once restarted, try opening your images.
