GentleGiantEd
I need a logo to upload to a membership site. I have the file in many formats but can't seem to get the background removed. Ive selected both EPS and PNG files to test but have no luck. When I export they still have the white background. Even when I select Export > Lanczos 3 > Selection without the background Im still getting the white. Anyone have any idea what I'm doing wrong? Thanks
Staff MEB Posted April 28, 2016 Staff Share Posted April 28, 2016 Hi edferrigan, I don't know which formats you have neither the program you are using (Photo or Designer?) so this may not work. Assuming you're using Affinity Photo go to menu Document ▸ Transparent Background to make the background transparent then export the file as PNG-24 (menu File ▸ Export). In Affinity Designer you can turn the background transparent going to menu File ▸ Document Setup..., Colour tab and checking Transparent background, then export as PNG-24 going to menu File ▸ Export. If you can give us more details about the formats you have we may be able to advice you better.
