Spider
Hi just wondered if anybody could give me a few pointers into getting started with Affinity, or where I could find some simple instructions to get me started. I have dabbled with photoshop elements 11 a couple of years back, so not experienced, but am willing to learn am retired now so have time to learn. I have about 20,000 photos old and new so lots to get my teeth into. hope some people can help me. Richard
Staff MEB Posted April 27, 2016 Staff Share Posted April 27, 2016 Hi Richard, Welcome to Affinity Forums :) I've compiled a few learning resources (both official and from third parties) here. Check the first (Home) page and the Affinity Photo section. The Help file that comes with the program also provides information/instructions about all program's features, don't overlook it. If you have any questions or find any issue when trying to achieve something just ask away here. There's plenty of knowledgeable people willing to help. Yasir
May I also add, about opening your 20,000 photos first in Apple's Preview application, comes free on every Mac, I found it opens as many as 200 photos as once, very fast, either raw or any format, to select which ones to work on before editing in Affinity Photo.
