Clone Brush Tool not working 1.10.8 on MacOS 12.7.3

First post here. I've been using Affinity Photo for a few years now, still on version 1.10.8 on Mac OS Monterey.

For some reason the Clone Brush Tool (and some others?) is not working anymore. It used to work. I can see the selection "+" when I hold the modifier key, but when I go to place the tool, nothing happens. I'm not sure what's wrong.

Can you please provide a full-screen screenshot of the Affinity app, with this tool selected and your Layers Studio visible?

The Opacity for this tool is set to 0% on the Context Toolbar, please increase this value and you should see the expected results -

Thank you very much! That was the fix I needed. I saw the Opacity 100% on the side control but not the Context toolbar. That is a bit confusing tbh. But thank you.

If by side control you mean the Layers panel, note that there you set the entire layer's opacity, while in the Context toolbar you set the opacity of the brush you are currently using, so these are two different things.
