Antpix
Just setting up AP on a new MacBook Air running El Capitan 10.11.4 and I don't seem to be able to select ProPhoto RGB as my working colour space. On my MBP 15 running 10.9.5 it shows up as an option in the preferences and I've been using it for the past several months. Is this an El Capitan thing or something else? Thanks very much
Staff Leigh Posted April 27, 2016 Staff Share Posted April 27, 2016 You could copy the ProPhoto colour profile from your MacBook Pro to your MacBook Air. It's normally stored in /Library/ColorSync/Profiles or /Library/ColorSync/Profiles/Recommended :)
R C-R
ProPhoto RGB is also known as "ROMM RGB" (Reference Output Medium Metric), as defined by ISO 22028-2:2013. There should be a "ROMM RGB.icc" profile installed along with OS X 10.11.x in System/Library/ColorSync/Profiles, which will appear with the U.S. (& possibly others?) localized name "ROMM RGB: ISO 22028-2:2013" in the color profile choices. jcrayst and Leigh 2 Quote All 3 1.10.8, & all 3 V2.4.1 Mac apps; 2020 iMac 27"; 3.8GHz i7, Radeon Pro 5700, 32GB RAM; macOS 10.15.7 Affinity Photo 1.10.8; Affinity Designer 1.108; & all 3 V2 apps for iPad; 6th Generation iPad 32 GB; Apple Pencil; iPadOS 15.
Antpix
Leigh, Thanks for the suggestion, however I've gone with R C-R suggestion as it's already installed, thanks to you R C-R as well.

AT.HA
I use to use ProPhoto RGB as my working space. Should I choose ROMM RGB now at Preferences>Colour (AFF.Photo)? Thank you.
Staff Leigh Posted January 5, 2017 Staff Share Posted January 5, 2017 R C-R states above that ProPhoto RGB is also known as ROMM RGB. You should be fine selecting it from Preferences :)
KTnewuser
Help please, I am using Affinity Photo on Windows 10. I am not able to select the ProPhoto RGB equivalent profile ROMM RGB, it is not available in my dropdown list as an option in Colour Preferences.
