ProPhoto RGB Profile missing on new MBair

Recommended Posts

Just setting up AP on a new MacBook Air running El Capitan 10.11.4 and I don't seem to be able to select ProPhoto RGB as my working colour space.

On my MBP 15 running 10.9.5  it shows up as an option in the preferences and I've been using it for the past several months.

Is this an El Capitan thing or something else?

Thanks very much

ProPhoto RGB is also known as "ROMM RGB" (Reference Output Medium Metric), as defined by ISO 22028-2:2013. There should be a "ROMM RGB.icc" profile installed along with OS X 10.11.x in System/Library/ColorSync/Profiles, which will appear with the U.S. (& possibly others?) localized name "ROMM RGB: ISO 22028-2:2013" in the color profile choices.
