KitKatKid Posted February 29, 2024 Posted February 29, 2024 Hi from John Edwin Can I please ask if there would be an possibility of developing some SUPER TOOLS as purchasable add on tools to the Affinity photo etc. I for one (being an almost 77 year old bumbling computer illiterate with white hair and depreciating grey cells) would pay for tools that would compensate for my lack of ability to grasp some of the technical ways of handling difficult tasks. One problem for me is handling hair on models and animals. Yes there is a plethora of useful Youtube videos which do help me but then I easily forget what to do if I don't process similar pictures on a daily basis. Hope your engineers can understand my situation and perhaps be sympathetic. When I went to school there was not even a pocket calculator as they had not been invented. We only dreamed about computers while reading our Dan Dare comics !!!! Thanks for reading the above. John Edwin Skelton in exile in exile in Slovakia

Serif’s Customer Service team should have been able to help (and, indeed, should still be able to do so, perhaps merging your two accounts into one). I've manually sent a force reset password link to your email address associated with the @KitKat1947 account now. Please check your email within the next few minutes, including any junk or spam folders for this link Alfred 1
KitKatKid Posted February 29, 2024 Author Posted February 29, 2024 OK Thanks for your efforts. BUT I have not received any incoming e-mail from Affinity Forum and yes I have checked all junk mail etc. There have been a lot of issues with various accounts in the UK over the last couple of months. My QVC shopping channel account is behaving in somewhat similar pattern and not allowing me to log in as I used to. QVC have not been very dynamic in trying to resolve this issue so I now have to phone in (Using my VOIP UK line) to place any order. This new account is working OK so far............. Regards and thanks for your attention to my reported issue. John Edwin Skelton in Exile in Slovakia
Dan C Posted March 1, 2024 Posted March 1, 2024 Sorry to hear this isn't being received correctly on your end! As Alfred suggests if you can please contact us directly at affinitysupport@serif.com we can manually reset the password on the old account to allow you to regain control of this. Many thanks in advance

Dan C Posted March 1, 2024 Posted March 1, 2024 The Affinity Forums uses 'support@seriflabs.com' as the address for correspondence, so I am hoping that the '@serif.com' address will play nicely with his mail server, but there is only one way to find out! Alfred 1
