Hussard64
I'm lost. When I autoflow the text in my document I discover that unexpected large spaces are left empty of text on some pages and not other with logic that the footnotes don't continue after the first page What's happening ? walt.farrell
Sorry, but I can't see what the characters are just before each of the unexplained breaks. Can you provide larger screenshots so those blue characters are visible? Also, what are the Flow settings in the Paragraph definitions for that text? MikeTO
2 hours ago, Hussard64 said: that unexpected large spaces are left empty of text on some pages and not other with logic that the footnotes don't continue after the first page The large space is likely due to a Flow setting which is why Walt asked about that. The next time you see this, check those settings and if you can't figure it out share a screenshot showing the settings as well as the issue. For #2, do you mean that the numbers don't continue? i.e., it's 1, 2, 3 and then restarts at 1? If so, that's because Publisher defaults to numbering footnotes from 1 for each frame. You will probably want to change Numbering > Restart Every from Frame to Story or Document. Hussard64
If I succeed reproducing it i will be more precise. Concerning the footnotes, there were only displayed in the first page and then no more.
MikeTO
Without seeing the document it's hard to say, but I bet this is the same issue as the split notes issue you reported separately. The additional footnotes are likely being scaled huge by the frame's content scaling factor.
