kuhnbnubstahl
Hi. I have the Affinity suite (1.10.6) on macOS (Sonoma 14.2.1). I did not update the program recently, but I updated macOS. All of a sudden, I may only use the "print" function one time per program launch. Explanation: I open the Affinity Photo, press CMD+P, the print dialog opens. I print my document. Next time I press CMD+P or go File -> Print, nothing happens. "Nothing" is not quite correct: On pressing CMD+P, the "File" menu item flashes, as if it recognized the input. If I open Affinity Designer, I may only print 1 time with that app, too. So the behavior is the same for both apps, independent of each other. Once I close and re-open the app, I may print once again, but only once. Other apps do not show the same behavior (tested: Chrome, CotEditor). How can I fix this? Might this be caused by a macOS update?
MikeTO
Hi, this has been reported before but it's been determined that it's a bug in macOS and not Affinity. If it's the same issue, logging into macOS with a different account will work but not with your normal account, so it's some sort of caching issue. You have to clear your settings and restart macOS to resolve it. More information is available in this thread. Good luck! kuhnbnubstahl
Since I could only find changelogs for v2, I had no clue about any fixes. Where can I find the changelog for v1 Affinity Suite apps? Also, I am not the admin and therefore may not update apps myself. @MikeTO Thx for the info!

Then please let the admin know that these updates are required for Sonoma. 20 minutes ago, kuhnbnubstahl said: Where can I find the changelog for v1 Affinity Suite apps? kuhnbnubstahl
@ loukash: Thx for the link to the changelog. I expected the changelogs to be on the main site, not in the forums 😕 I just updated the apps. Unfortunately, the update does not fix the issue. The changelogs for 7 and 8 subversions do not mention this issue, either.
