Jim Tooley
Affinity Designer/Publisher V2.3.1 - Windows 10 Pro - 16MB Ram I just created a new file and only got this far before discovering this problem. First Ticket.afpub
Old Bruce
Change the Cap to be the middle one. As things stand now you have half the width of the Gap added to the start and again at the end. The width of the Gap is 1 unit of the line's width so .5x + .5x = 1x the line weight/width. Jim Tooley
Thanks for the reply, Bruce ... I'm probably older than thou. That did work as you suggested. The tool calls the style a 'dashed line" .... what I see is just square dots. Is there anyway to change it to dashes?

Jim Tooley
Thanks Alfred. Makes perfect sense. I am surprised and pleased that Affinity gives us this much control. I guess, coming from InDesign, I just expected no options. Affinity is looking better and better all the time. Alfred
