Photo, but the technique is perfectly doable in Designer too: classic direct painting.

 

Seen through the front door of a meerkat colony …  :D

 

Yeah! It was the idea  :)

 

 

For this illustration I crafted these tools I want to share with you (click the picture).

It's a small selection of 5 brushes for blocking large areas with an oil painting look.

They are very crazy random.

Edit - WOW these add instead artistry. Blending with them is really nice too.

I didn't know Photo can do this. It's like painted on canvas.

Although it takes you to Paolo’s website, it doesn’t now take you to a download link for those brushes.
