SG-P
I just updated to the newest version and am unable to use the program. I am using macOS Sonoma 14.2.1. I am able to upload a photo but once I have the photo on the screen, the tools, crop and selection are the only 2 that I have tried to use so far, but neither is functioning. The crop box shows up but I am unable to resize the photo, when I put cursor on the marks to move the sides of the crop box, nothing happens. When I tried the rectangle selection tool, the cursor moves over the photo, but the selection box doesn't appear. Please advise, thanks, Shelby
v_kyr
The actual Sonoma version is 14.3.1 which fixed some macOS related issues (beside security holes). - Other than that you can try for APh v2.3.1 after you've updated, to reset it to it's default ... ... and dependent on the used Mac type (Intel or Arm based) then also to change the APh hardware acceleration setting from Metal to OpenGL under the app settings. Staff NathanC Posted February 14 Staff Share Posted February 14 Welcome to the forums @SG-P, If after following the above guidance you're still having issues it would be beneficial if you could provide a screen recording which demonstrates the crop and selection tool issue you're having. This is fairly straightforward to do on MacOS, i've provided a link to the guide below for more info. https://support.apple.com/en-gb/102618 Thanks
