That's absolutely no problem at all, I'm glad I've been able to help... 11 minutes ago, EricNeo said: I never configured that outline on that text, as other many things appearing as by magic with this s.oftware. I have seen this before with another file and I have no idea how the stoke was applied, whether it's somehow a side effect of the scaling bug I'm really not sure. It makes little sense but having seen it twice now, I'll certainly keep an eye on it and do some further testing... 13 minutes ago, EricNeo said: I don't like this at all. I think I tried enough. 3 months. 3 times painful. I can totally understand your frustration and at the end of the day you have to make the choice that suits you best. I think you've been a little unfortunate stumbling across this particular bug and it's obviously entirely your choice but I would give it a little more time and perhaps (if you haven't already) watch the tutorials on Affinity's YouTube Channel... https://www.youtube.com/@AffinityPublisher/videos The forum has many very knowledgeable people on it who will answer pretty much any question you have and will be able to solve most issues you experience and you can pretty much be guaranteed to get a fast response to any posts which I think is one of the great things about these forums... Personally, I learn something new most days using Affinity software and amaze myself that I didn't realise how to do certain things that when pointed out seem obvious... Anyway, you have to do what you feel is best for your workflow but I would highly recommend downloading @MikeTO's free unofficial Affinity Publisher Manual and giving that a thorough read through... I (personally) find it can be really easy to give up too quickly and dismiss software because you either come across an issue or because you initially find something seemingly complex to get your head around but when you give it time and you learn how to do a particular task it then becomes obvious and you wonder why you ever found it difficult in the first place... Just my two cents but the choice is yours, you have to do what works best for you and if the Affinity Suite doesn't work for you then you just have to find something that does but my advice (for what it's worth) is be patient and give it the time it deserves... 27 minutes ago, EricNeo said: Good luck and if you come in Thailand where I live, I offer you a restaurant for thanks. 😁 Haha, I spent one of the most amazing Christmases ever on the beach in Thailand (many years ago now) with this amazing French/Italian couple, we didn't know each other but they cooked us this amazingly special Christmas Dinner and made us feel so welcome, it's a memory that will live on always because it was so unique so if I'm in Thailand again I would happily take you up on that, it's one of my most favourite places in the world... 🇹🇭 Dan C 1 Quote Affinity Designer 2.3.1.2217 | Affinity Photo 2.3.1.2217 | Affinity Publisher 2.3.1.2217 Affinity Designer Beta 2.4.0.2294 | Affinity Photo Beta 2.4.0.2294 | Affinity Publisher Beta 2.4.0.2294 Affinity Designer 1.7.3 | Affinity Photo 1.7.3 | Affinity Publisher 1.10.8 MacBook Pro 16GB, macOS Monterey 12.6.
