Good afternoon I have an Epson ET 2650 multi tank printer and the red never seems to print out as a true red.  is there something I can do to correct/overcome this when printing from Affinity Publisher please?

What color format is your document? What OS are you using?

And what do you mean by "true red"? If that means that you have an RGB document, and have a color that is 100% R and 0% G and B, then consider that your printer is a CMYK printer, so there will need to be a color conversion from RGB to CMYK. And since none of the printer's inks is Red, it won't be 100% accurate.

The conversion will also be affected by the kind of paper you're printing on, and in addition to that colors on-screen are never the same as colors on paper because one uses additive and one uses subtractive processing.

Also, there are simply some colors you can produce using RGB that you simply can't get with CMYK.

If you have a specific document you'd like to share that may help if this answer doesn't explain it.
