Noob
Hello, is it possible to move a node and keep the node handle anchored in place? For example, in the image attached, I would like to move the position of node "A" but keep the handle "B" fixed in place. As of now, "B" always moves along side the "A" node. Staff MEB Posted April 19, 2016 Staff Share Posted April 19, 2016 Hi Noob, No, currently the node's handles always move with the node. Quote A Guide to Learning Affinity Software
Noob
Okay, thanks MEB. By the way, is there a keyboard shortcut to change the selected node?

PixelPest
I wished handles would at least snap to something at all. ;) (so you can mark it´s position and let it snap after moving the point at least) Is there a way to enable guides with the Node-Tool? I find it laborious to switch back and force Move- and Node-tool while I have to because I can´t see the handles when in Move-mode - so to speak. So how do you align a guide to a node? Cheers P. Staff MEB Posted April 19, 2016 Staff Share Posted April 19, 2016 Hi PixelPest, No, currently node's handles doesn't snap to guides or grids but i believe there will be news here later. I know Ben is aware of this. Quote A Guide to Learning Affinity Software
PixelPest
Please let us access the guides without switching tools like other vektor.apps do. Thanks for listening. Cheers P.
Staff Ben Posted April 19, 2016 Staff Share Posted April 19, 2016 The feature in the OP has already been added and will be available in 1.5. Guides editing in other tools will come soon.
