Move node and keep node handle anchored in place

Recommended Posts

Hello, is it possible to move a node and keep the node handle anchored in place? For example, in the image attached, I would like to move the position of node "A" but keep the handle "B" fixed in place. As of now, "B" always moves along side the "A" node.

I wished handles would at least snap to something at all.  ;)  (so you can mark it´s position and let it snap after moving the point at least)

Is there a way to enable guides with the Node-Tool? I find it laborious to switch back and force Move- and Node-tool while I have to because I can´t see the handles when in Move-mode - so to speak. So how do you align a guide to a node?

Cheers

P.
