mshakeshaft
I may have missed it but is there a way to default to Lanczos 3 (non-seperable) resampling? It seems strange that a high quality image editing program defaults to a resampling method that is not optimum for photographs (Nearest Neighbour). Staff MEB Posted April 18, 2016 Staff Share Posted April 18, 2016 Hi mshakeshaft, Welcome to Affinity Forums :) Currently no. Affinity Photo is still relatively new and some things still need to be tweaked/polished a little. It should become better as we move forward. Thanks for your feedback. Yohmi
Hello ! It's been 7 years now, and I'm still wondering ! Did I miss something ? Every time I start a new session of Affinity Photo, I need to manually select Lanczos as resampling technique. And I still forget to do it sometimes, which leads to unwanted bilinear resampled results. Not really convenient… same goes for metadata in the export menu by the way, I always have to uncheck it manually on a new session, I can't find a way to make that kind of settings stick. Thanks !
