Stephanie.
Hi! I'm really going crazy over this. Maybe i'm just dumb, but I'm sure that you can get rounded strokes (rounded caps) after exporting to plain PDF? The first picture is how it looks in the program, the second one is exported as pdf. Why does it change the end cap to square? Or is this just how pdf works? (It can't export rounded strokes and lines?) Is this an easy fix or is my program just beeing weird? Greatful for help! Cuz I'm going nuts haha Edited February 8 by Stephanie.

Old Bruce
@Stephanie. Welcome to the foums. Are those arcs made with the Donut or Pie Tool? I can get a result like yours if I use the Donut tool and align the stroke to the outside . Align the stroke to the centre and all should be fine. No, I simply just made a ellips with the ellips tool, put a color to stroke, made it thicker, cut away pieces, and chose rounded cap Nothing more (Oh and I have it aligned to centre! 😮 ) Edited February 8 by Stephanie. Pšenda
My previous uploaded PDF file in Edge, and in Chrome - but with Acrobat extension. And this is Chrome without extension (Acrobat extension disabled). Edit: interestingly, not only does the Acrobat extension display the PDF incorrectly (square corners), but the image is even significantly larger. I have already uninstalled this extension 🙂 Edited February 8 by Pšenda Quote Affinity Store (MSI/EXE): Affinity Suite (ADe, APh, APu) 2.3.1.2217 Dell OptiPlex 7060, i5-8500 3.00 GHz, 16 GB, Intel UHD Graphics 630, Dell P2417H 1920 x 1080, Windows 11 Pro, Version 23H2, Build 22631.2506. Stephanie.
I can also see in the exported pdf document that it's "type" is named "Microsoft Edge PDF Document"....is this effecting the edges? Cuz when it opens in microsoft it turns square, but not in chrome
Hangman
1 minute ago, Stephanie. said: Hmm weird! I opened in chrome and it came our round now... 😮 I very much suspect the issue is the browser, i.e., Edge rather than the file itself... Edge is not the best application for viewing PDF files reliably... If you don't already have it installed I would recommend downloading and installing the free Acrobat Reader for Windows as that will give you a much more reliable representation of your PDF file...
