OlliW Posted February 6, 2024 Posted February 6, 2024 Hi! I'm using Affinity Photo 2.3.1 on Windows 10 Home 22H2. When I use a filter like gaussian blur or pixel mosaic Affinity Photo crashes nearly every time. Sometimes I can edit 3 photos, sometimes only 1 before Photo crashes. Photos are jpg, mostly 4896x3264 or 6240x4160. I am very frustrated and not sure if Affinity was a good choice. Same editing with Gimp works without any difficulty . Greetings, Oliver d436c2bf-16b1-40c0-8b25-e888aef41524.dmp Quote
Staff Lee D Posted February 7, 2024 Staff Posted February 7, 2024 @OlliW Welcome to the forums. Can you open the apps Settings > Performance and if Hardware Acceleration is enabled, turn if off and restart the app and see if the same occurs. It may also be worth checking to see if your graphics card drivers are fully up to date. Quote
OlliW Posted February 7, 2024 Author Posted February 7, 2024 (edited) Hardware Acceleration was/is off, graphic card drivers are up to date. So everything is fine. If it's helpful: Nvidia GeForce RTX 2080, driver 31.0.15.3770 Intel UHD Graphics 630, driver 30.0.101.1339 Edited February 7, 2024 by OlliW Quote
