Does Affinity Designer have a photo replacement feature similar to other design apps? This would allow you to effortlessly replace the original image with another one, while maintaining the mask applied to the previous image.

Hi @albertkinng,

If I've correctly understood your request, this is currently possible when using Placed (Image) Layers in Affinity Designer.

Using the Place Tool (Or File > Place) you can add your original image to the canvas, which is introduced as an (Image) layer.

You can then apply a mask/adjustments etc to this (Image) layer as required.

Provided that the (image) layer is not rasterised to a (Pixel) layer during editing, then it's possible to directly 'Replace' this with another Image from disk.

To do this, select the (Image) layer with the Move Tool, then select Replace Image on the Context Toolbar - in the dialog that opens you can then select the image to be replaced on canvas.

I hope this helps :)
