How do I download V1?

I've been asked by a few members of my local photography club to give them a tutorial on Affinity Photo.  They have V1 and would like me to demonstrate using that version.  I'm on V2.3.2.

I purchased V1 on AppStore in Dec 2019 and can find it in my list of purchases there, but there doesn't seem to be any way to download it from the AppStore.

Affinity Photo 1 doesn't seem to be in the list of available apps.

How can I get it?

If you never purchased V1 then you can't download V1 because V2 | V1 are separate products and purchases.

Workaround: You could try if the V1 demo is available for you in the Serif Store. If not, one of your club members can probably download the V1 demo through their account. You may be able to install this V1 demo on your Mac... although I'm not sure about the exact/strict legal situation for this particular case.

@Stolzy You should still be able to download v1 from the Mac App Store if that is where you purchased it from.
Sign in using the same account info that you used when originally purchasing the app.
In your past purchases, do you see a small cloud icon with a downwards arrow next to Photo? Clicking on the cloud icon will start the download to your Applications folder.

The OP said V1 was purchased from the AppStore in Dec 2019, so it should be available there & the second post of the link above@walt.farrell mentioned probably will help resolve why it is not visible there.

EDIT: Forgot to add that I do not think a free trial of AP V1 is available from the Affinity Store.

I see that, but there's no download icon.

It may appear unexpected but apparently V1 trail is still available for download and trial, even "If you haven't previously trialed the Affinity V1 apps, and don't have a license", as Dan recently pointed out in another thread:

Interesting! I did find it in my Affinity Store account. I purchased AP V1 from the Apple Store, so the non-trial version does not appear there, but since I could & did update to 1.10.8 via the Apple Store, there is no need for me to DL that trial.

Have you tried signing out and then back into the App Store?
And to clarify, we are talking about trying to re-download the app from the Mac App Store, correct?
You are logged into the same Store account you originally used when you purchased the app?
In 'Purchased' what do you see? (Perhaps a small screenshot similar to my one earlier)

I don’t know how the Apple App Store works, but the low price of Photo there – £19.99 – looks like it could have been the iPad version rather than the macOS version, unless there was a significant discount.

If so, you cannot install the iPad version in macOS.

I don't have my Mac with me to check, but that doesn't look like you're in the right place. From the Apple Support article linked from the FAQ I linked to earlier, you should be in a dialog that looks like this, not the one you've shown:

I don’t have a Mac, but that doesn’t look like a list of purchased apps. It looks like a list of orders placed, which is clearly not quite the same thing.

Which Apple operating System are you on?
As noted by others here, it dose not look like you are looking in the right place. Where exactly are you looking that gives the page shown in your screenshot?
Neither the macOS App Store as accessed via my computer nor the iOS App Store as accessed via my iPhone shows me a page like the one in your screenshot.

Same for me. 

@Stolzy, if you click on the Apple icon at the top left of your Mac's window & select "App Store..." that should open the App Store app on your Mac. From there, click on your user name at the bottom left of the app's window, or if it is not showing, sign in using the Store > Sign In menu choice.

Please recheck your version number. AFAIK, the current retail Affinity Photo version is still V2.3.1 for both the desktop & iPad versions.

Also, as @GarryP mentioned, in your screenshot, from wherever source that is, the only Affinity Photo item shown has a cost of £19.99, which would make sense only if it was the iPad version, not the desktop one. Is that what you bought?
