better import options for affinity to adobe

Recommended Posts

I'm having serious trouble when exporting designs and willing to keep my layers in adobe. when I open them in adobe, everything is flattened and pixelated. Any change to see an update in the future that could keep all the information from affinity to import into adobe

Short: No!

There will be no better export function than is already available. Since Adobe does not disclose its file formats, especially the proprietary data area, to third-party providers, the third-party providers can only access a part of the Adobe file formats by reverse engineering, but not the proprietary one. As Serif and Adobe handle some layer objects differently, these layers unfortunately have to be rasterized.

It has been said many times on this site, if you need to work in Adobe it is best to create in one application. So many headaches come or are possible by trying to go between 2 different applications made by different companies. You will never get a 1:1 equivalency with Serif and Adobe.
