Bug found during PDF Export in Affinity Publisher v2.3.1

Recommended Posts

I was editing a text document and couldn't export it as PDF. I tried exporting single pages to single out the error. Long story short, the problem was that I had assigned a gradient to a decorative elements contour added to a list (see picture). This seems to have created the problem. I assigned a color instead of a gradient and could export the file. I could reproduce the problem.

Any idea why that is?

Many thanks in advance!

Hi @freelancefreddy and welcome to the forums,

This appears to be a bug and as you say, reproducible... The only way to export the file to PDF is to change the Rasterise setting in the Advanced options from 'Unsupported Properties' to 'Everything' which then rasterises the text or to change the stroke back to a solid colour...
