Lets say i have a group of RINGS at same size and position. The whole group is eg 100 pixel (as same big as the biggest RING inside):
But now i rotate a RING  and this Ring/Flan and also the group will get eg. 150 pixels... depending off the rotated corners...

AFAIK there is a tool which creates rotation an other transform... as new standard for this layer... so a 100 pix will still keep as a 100 pix, after confirming this...  transformating size... but i didnt fin it anymore???

Any way to set a startpoint of the "open" Ring>/Flan (btw: where is the difference between this 2 shapes?) ?

It allways starts at 90°, but i want to start the OPEN at ZERO?

3

how can i generally diadsle the FRAME off a selected Layer?  Well, i can hide this by moving, via menue-bar option, but sometimes i dont want to see this layer at all? How can i do?

Thank you!

1: click the button:
(a recent V2 version has an option in the Transform Panel for permanent reset of a rotated bounding box back to un-rotated)

2: Use its Context Toolbar options for numerical setting – or select a shape Tool to access the red handles for dragging:
(difference: ring starts with hole)

3: Press the space key on your keyboard (or select the View/Pan/Hand Tool). To fully hide and "diadsle (…) this layer at all" uncheck it in the Layers Panel.
