Usual shortcuts for zoom were not working and I was wondering what could it be. Finally I have checked shortcuts and check screenshot what I had set by default for zoom in and zoom out 🤔

F15 and F16...

I dont know what keyboards others have, but mine goes only up to F12 😉 So I can only assume it was set like this by default. I have changed that to usual shortcuts and it works perfectly. So call me crazy but its either bug or I have set my shortcuts to non existing keys and forgot about it. For now working theory is that thats a bug.

(I just learnt that on widows one can get SHIFT+F3=F15 and SHIFT+F4=f16. Still - its impossible to set it the way presented on screenshot because it will be described as combination of keys).

I see the same shortcuts (F15 for “Zoom In” and F16 for “Zoom Out”) in the Photo/Miscellaneous section of the Shortcuts but, in the “View → Zoom” menu I see “Zoom In” is Ctrl+= (equivalent to Ctrl++) and “Zoom Out” is Ctrl+-

However, in the Photo/View section of the Shortcuts there is a “Zoom → Zoom In”, set to Ctrl+= and a “Zoom → Zoom Out” set to Ctrl+-

I’m wondering what the difference is between the “View” Zoom In/Out and the “Miscellaneous” Zoom In/Out.

Edit: Ah, I’ve just found out that F15 & F16 were added for tablet zooming on Windows: https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/topic/138904-affinity-publisher-for-macos-192/

Maybe those options in Miscellaneous should be renamed to “Tablet Zoom In” and “Tablet Zoom Out” to make that clear.

So this looks like it’s not a bug, as such, but rather some confusingly-named options.

@GarryP Maybe “View” Zoom In/Out is somehow corelated to View tool and “Miscellaneous” Zoom In/Out with the Zoom tool.
But I have no idea what this correlation would be.

Ah.. weird think though - by default ctrl++ wasnt working which prompted the search in the first place. It was set correctly and keyboard is working so I wonder what it could possibly be... Anyways thank you for info everybody. After resetting everything works so sorry for starting new thread apparently for no reason. Just some local, random weirdness happened.
