Huggys
Hi, What I wish to see I super simple. I'm using the fill tool and I'd like to see the system cooler palette for two reasons: 1) All my saved collars are there. 2) I need to use the system's Colour picking tool to pick colours that are in a powerpoint. I see this (see attached screenshot) but that's it. I want to see the other palette when using Affinity's Fill Tool. (See screenshot) Thanks! There you can find your system swatches (i.e. palettes). Quote Affinity Suite 2.5 – Monterey 12.7.5 – MacBookPro 14" 2021 M1 Pro 16Go/1To I apologise for any approximations in my English. Huggys
Thank for the quick reply but unfortunately it is not working too well. I do not have the Apple colours that I saved and curiously Affinity's eyedropper is not working on powerpoint, but on the background image that is under (desktop )

R C-R
1 hour ago, Huggys said: I do not have the Apple colours that I saved... Open the Apple Color Picker from the Windows menu & click on the Color Palettes button -- it's the third along the top, 2 over from the Color Wheel button shown in your screenshot. You should now see in the popup list that appears below that row of buttons the various system color palettes on your Mac. This is supposedly well known for the use of Apple's color selector but it is always worth to remind it. Anyway, the same choices (even if the color names are not always translated the same) should appear in the popup menu in Affinity's Swatches panel. I know, buty if they appear in the Apple picker window but not in one (or more) of the Affinity app's Swatches panel then that points to some issue with the installation of that app. IOW, it may help pin down the problem if that happens. Huggys
I found the Apple Colour Picker. But it's not in the Window tab nor in the Swatches tab, but in the View dropdown . See screenshot below

As @Oufti mentioned, that means you are using V1, but regardless if you click on the third icon in the Apple Colour Picker window like shown below, what do you get in the popup that appears below it? R C-R
7 hours ago, Huggys said: I can't hold on "Apple" I see nothing. Nothing comes out I am not sure what you mean by "can't hold" but if you mean there is no other choice than Apple when you click & hold on the word "Apple" then maybe try seeing what happens when you use the Apple Color Picker in another app like Apple's Preview.app (via the "Show Colors" option when you have the Markup toolbar visible & click on the Border or Fill Color buttons) to see if any other Color Palettes show up in that app. If not, then the cause of your problem is not something in your Affinity app but somewhere else. It might help if you can navigate to /Library/ColorSync/Profiles & see if you have a WebSafeColors.icc profile file there. If so, you should at least get a "Web Safe Colors" choice in the popup that should appear when you click & hold on Apple. There should also be a "Crayons" pallet choice but I am not sure if it has a separate *.icc profile anywhere. BTW, among the many online tutorials for the Apple picker maybe check out this https://rotato.app/blog/mac-color-picker one. It's recently updated & has a nice contents section so you can jump to any topic.
