Modifier Key Customization

To resize or scale an object from its center, we can hold Ctrl key and drag one of the object's corner handles. I want to change the modifier key to Alt, but there is no option to do it.

Please make the modifier keys customizable.

I have long wanted to be able to do this; though I suspect that we have somewhat different motivations because I don't recognise your description of the key's function. For me, having certain modifying functions for e.g. the pen tool and others attached to a single key on the left side causes an accessibility issue.

We can customize the modifier keys in VectorStyler and in free open-source software like Blender/ Godot, so we should also be able to do it in Affinity

To be clear, I am very much in agreement with your request, so I'm not sure what the quote was for.

Seconded. Specifically on a Mac, resizing from both sides is universally done using the Option key, even when resizing windows in Finder. It's very confusing that Affinity Designer requires the Command key to be pressed to do this.
