Apple M2 Mac running macOS 14.3 Sonoma, Affinity Photo 2 v2.3.1

I am trying to use the Clone Brush Tool and the Inpainting Brush Tool. When I click drag across an area to make changes, the changes do not appear on the screen but instead in the Navigator window. For that matter, the same thing happens when I use the crop tool and set it to "resample". The image in the window does not change, but the one in the Navigator reflects the change.

See screen grab. I'm not sure if this is a bug or do I have something set wrong? Other tools don't seem to behave this way.

It is.

I just happened to zoom in and then out and the changes appeared (and continue to appear)

Yes, that's the currently known workaround.

Here a similar thread:

MacBookAir 15": MacOS Sonoma > Affinity v1, v2, v2 beta // MacBookPro 15" mid-2012: MacOS El Capitan > Affinity v1 / MacOS Catalina > Affinity v1, v2, v2 beta // iPad 8th: iPadOS 18 > Affinity v2
