Node Tool

As from this morning my Node Tool is no longer working!!! Why may this be?????? Really frustrating as I'm working on a deadline today & need this tool

Can you give us more details of what's happening? And maybe a screenshot so we can see a bit of what you see. .

I am creating a circle, then switch to the node tool to alter the circle but it's not doing anything i.e. not showing the red dots as normal. It just stays as it was ?????

That's because your circle is still a shape, a built-in functionality that you can adjust with the options in the context toolbar. Other shapes can be adjusted more directly in the shape itself.

If you want to edit the circle as a regular vector object, select Layer -> Convert to curves or right-click and select convert to curves.

You should now see four nodes that you can adjust with the node tool.

Thanks for your help. I forgot the step where I needed to convert the circle to the pie shape in order to do what I wanted! So all good there.

But now my move tool isn't working!???

I'm actually having a lot of problems with Affinity designer at the moment. My move tool seems to have fixed itself for the moment!

Rebooting the machine can often clear up some weird little problems that have unknown causes.

Did you possibly lock the layer by accident?
