My very first project with Affinity Designer is an abstract picture. I learned a lot. I only missed the fill layer. What is the equivalent in Designer? In my project I have used a simple rectangle shape.

Hello j3rry,
I really like your picture. How did you get the surfaces of the individual elements right?

@deepblue,The texture I used comes from the Daub papers I bought here in the Affinity Shop. There is only one texture which I have placed as a layer over everything in linear burn mode.

Hi j3rry, thank you for your message. I just looked at the add ons for Affinity Designer - Daub papers. I also watched the video about it.

For example, how can I change the surface of an object?
We already know a color gradient. But how do I get this additional structure?
Does this only work with paid addons?
