I use a Macbook Air with AF2 v 2.3.0, which was working faultlessly until yesterday and I was able to open/close past and present AF2 documents without a problem.

Without any changes being made by me to the software, and with AF having remained open when I closed the lid of my Macbook for a break, I found that I could not then upload/open any recent AF2 documents that had been created by me, or the backup copies of current documents that are being worked on – permission was denied. These are 44 page monthly magazines for publication.

I cannot now open any AF2 documents - and I dare not close a current document for fear of being unable to reopen it.

How can this be corrected?

Solved! I rebooted AF and restarted Macbook. On reopening, the AF2 had updated to v2.3.1 and all is now working correctly. I am not invited to install updates - they happen in the background - which perhaps is why files could not be accessed.

AF2

As non-native English speaker and noticing English as both app & system language in your screenshot I am just curious:

Isn't in English Foto generally written as Photo while AF refers to AutoFocus rather than to APh?
