DieterW
Due to my experience a better option for controlling the pinning settings (for Publisher) would be necessary. I think the best option would be to add pinning to the text styles (character section). This should be sufficient to handle all cases, at least I came across. A separate style or preset option just for pinning would not be necessary I think.

Both are already crowded enough, and the modal window is an absolutely wrong UI for this kind of feature. Also, pinning is not a character attribute. In fact, it's totally independent of any character attributes. At best, it makes use of some paragraph attributes. If anything, we could use some separate "Pinning Style" feature in the existing Pinning panel. MikeTO
Affinity doesn't have object styles, just presets which are confusingly called Styles, but someday when it gains that feature I assume that the pinning attributes would become part of the object style definition. The same goes for text frame attributes, picture frame attributes, etc. Quote Download a free manual for Publisher 2.3 from this forum - expanded 260-page PDF Affinity 2.3.1 for macOS Sonoma 14.3, MacBook Pro 14" (M1 Pro)
